Lai Thai has a great atmosphere. The place is just designed well and you feel like you’re in a upscale, pleasant atmosphere. The staff is well mannered and quick to serve.
The food: We had the healthy rolls, barbecue beef and pad Thai. The pad Thai could’ve been more flavorful, but was good. The beef was excellent, but could’ve used more sauce and I enjoyed the rice that came with it. The rolls were the best part. Really tasty.
The downside, it’s a little pricey for the portions. If it was cheaper or just came with a free side or something, that would be more appropriate for the price, I think. So if money’s no option, definitely go here. It’s a nice date place. Order appetizers and sides, but expect to pay a little more.
I give Lai Thai Cuisine 7 out of 10 keggers.
