Frat Boy At the Movies: Zombieland

Zombieland is as good as it’s trailer and then some and it has the absolute best cameo by Bill Murray you will ever see. I promise you.
Basic plot, well the same as every zombie movie really. The zombies come, kill almost everyone, leaving survivors to learn quick how to kill zombies or become one. The movie has a fun tone, but still has a few mild scares and tragedies sprinkled throughout that keep the action as real as it gets in a zombie movie.

Jessie Eisenberg stars as a neurotic college kid that managed to survive mainly because he’s a complete loser. Woody Harleson is the expert zombie killer with a tortured past. Emma Stone and Abagail Breslin are the two con-artist sisters that have always been survivors. Without giving the movie away, they eventually come together to fight the zombies. There is a climatic battle, but it’s more about the characters than the zombies.
If you like Sean of the Dead and even the remake of Day of the Dead, I think you’re going to love this one. I give Zombieland 9.5 keggers out of 10. Go see it, bros.
