Hey, bros!

Whew, what a busy week for yours truly.  We’re starting the big promotion push for the Super Frat/Dick Masterson Special and I’ve got that signing on Friday.   And, not to mention the pin up contest.  Oh, the busy life of a comic book dude.

People are back in college, God how I miss it.  College had just the right mix of high school debauchery mixed with adult themes.

Okay, maybe I’m romanticizing the past somewhat.

Eh, not that much.  At least at college, though, you always had some kind of activity.  New Jersey isn’t exactly at the hub of activity these days.  I clicked on this weekend event sites and click “NJ activities”, THIS IS WHAT I FOUND.

That’s the problem with September, too hot to do fall stuff, too cool to do summer stuff.  Who wants to go to the beach in the leaves?  Oh, wait, I live in NJ.  Who wants to go to the beach here?

Well, I guess you can always get laid in any weather.  Provided you have a partner or $300 and a will to break local prostitution laws.  There are some good movies coming out this weekend.

I’ve been hearing good things about “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”, plus I like food, so that sounds good.  I was sort of looking forward to “Surrogates”, but the buzz is not good.  Sad.  It’s based after a graphic novel.  Finally, “Jennifer’s Body” doesn’t seem like its doing very well, despite Megan Fox’s tits.

Rotten Tomatoes score hovers between 43-57%.  A so-so endorsement.  The missus won’t go see horror and my snobby film coffee clatch will never pay for this one.  Does going by myself make me a perv?  Do I care?  No.

We have to hope the movie does well, bros.  It means that Megan Fox will get more work and I’ll have an excuse to post more pictures of her.  It’s a win-win.  Football is back (he says as if he gave a shit).  I don’t, but there is a new TV show on FX that looks kind of interesting.  It’s call “The League” and it’s about a group of guys in a Fantasy Football League.  That sounds funny.  Have to check it out.

And while we’re on the subject of FX, some sweet shows are back on including Sons of Anarchy and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  Just watched the premiere and it was full of awesome.  Simpsons this Sunday.  Early and no baseball to ruin it!

Aw, fuck it.  Who cares if there’s nothing to do?  My TV will keep me warm.
